Directed Electronics, has announced the immediate availability of Orion Car Audio XTRPRO-series subwoofers. Directed has marked the 25th anniversary of the Orion brand with a top-to-bottom re-launch of the line, including the return of XTR and XTRPRO – two renowned series of products from Orion’s past, according to the company. Featuring custom cast-aluminum baskets, rugged paper/fiber blend cones with high roll surrounds, custom terminals, and a choice of dual 2-ohm or dual 4-ohm copper-wound voice coils on aluminum formers, Orion XTRPRO subs offer 500 watts RMS continuous power handling.
